Hollyhock Seeds

Black Hollyhock Seeds

Saved by hand from the garden at High Desert Apothecary.

These beautiful old-fashioned hollyhocks produce tall stalks of deep, nearly black blooms that bring a little drama and vintage cottage-garden charm wherever they grow. Hollyhocks are a favorite of bees and other pollinators and look especially beautiful planted along fences, barns, garden edges, and old outbuildings.

Each packet contains seeds collected and packaged by hand from plants grown right here in our garden.

Growing: Sow outdoors in fall or early spring, or start indoors before your last frost. Hollyhocks prefer full sun and well-drained soil. They are biennial or short-lived perennial plants and may not bloom until their second year.

A little piece of the High Desert garden, saved for yours. ♡
